What is the mission of Mommy and Me?

Our mission is to strengthen families and communities by providing non-medical health support services, reentry assistance, and resource navigation for individuals seeking stability, opportunity, and long-term success.

How does Mommy and Me operate?

Mommy and Me operates through partnerships with local organizations and volunteers to implement sustainable development projects.

What counties does Mommy and Me work in?

Mommy and Me currently only service Cook County and Will County residents of Illinois

How long will it take for my application to be processed and approved

After application approval funds are deposited immediately. (We review applications on the first Tuesday of each month).

How often do you update applicants

Due to high volume, we will update each applicant during the intake process. If additional documentation or information is needed it could slow down your application processing time.

I was recently evicted,do you all provide emergency shelter?

At the moment, we only offer a one time payment for emergency shelter service. Hotel Vouchers are available only when we receive them.

Do you need my landlord information?

Yes, however, if we cannot contact your landlord we will issue direct payment to applicant and this is strictly up to the boards discretion.

Do you all help with resume assistance

Yes, our programs are long-term. Once approved for any program, you will automatically qualify for job readiness services.

I was recently released from prison, do you all assist felons?

For the safety of the families and children we serve, applicants with a history of offenses that pose a direct risk to others, including certain violent offenses or offenses involving harm to minors, may not be eligible for participation. All applications are reviewed on a case by case basis in alignment with program safety standards.

Mommy and Me Health Services Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, effective March 31, 2026. Contributions are tax-deductible under IRC Section 170.
